That was quick! How much lift are you looking for? Ive always said to use team grand wagoneer springs, they are new and dont end up sagging.

I personally think waggy springs are overrated. Toyota rear springs are the same length, but locate the axle more forward, by about 2-3". But, the best combo is toyota rear main leafs with waggy leafs for the rest of the pack. Of course, this is assuming your going spring over

^^ Thats a strong point about them moving the axle forward since you have to do it anyway. Was a pain trying to move the hangers on the frame.

If your real gangster, you can run 3rd gen (89-94) toyota rear springs. Theyre a bit longer (51" vs 47") so youd still have to move your hanger forward, but they flex goooood.

im not wanting a huge lift because i do intend on taking this on the trails maybe a little bit more then my trailmaster gives me so around 6 and 8 probably at the most. yes im doing a soa i will look at team grand wagoneer springs. i do like the idea of the toyota rears with the rest waggy leafs. since it moves the axle forward a bit. if you guys know some sites were i can find parts for that be cool ive been trying to find parts for my axle to rebuild it maybe im just typin in the wrong stuff ha

would they have a bunch of arch running the the longer spring pack or is it all on the position on the hangers

All the stuff you need to rebuild the axle can be had at local parts stores. Its just a D44.

And thats the good thing about toyota rear main springs (the toyota guys call em RUF's or Rears Up Front) they're pretty flat with not a lot of arch. With the toyota rear mains in my rig, I am only at about 3-4" over stock, running 35x16 boggers. Theyre also military wrapped which is a huge plus.

An option I have been looking at but havent seen any one do is to run a set of old-man emu toyota rear springs. You can get em in a low lift (~2") and a higher spring rate then stock. I have stock toyota rear springs now with no leafs added and they hardly lasted a year.

This is 35s on new waggy springs.

A more level stance for a better idea of the height.

and if I had all the parts ready would it be possible to have it at least rolling on the axle in a week end? Why I ask is im allowed to use the shop just cant be in the way during the week

Yeah you can have it rolling in a weekend. For that matter if you can weld "good enough" then get it all set up and tacked in place and Ill come burn it on for ya. What kind of welder/s?

Dont forget to double the frame at the shock mount.
